Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA) Our Awana clubs meet from 6:45 - 8:15 PM on Wednesday evenings during the school years. We host clubs for children preschool through high school age. The primary goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the good news of God's grace, which takes away our sin-debt and makes us new people in Christ Jesus. Clubbers study and memorize God's Word in age appropriate ways. We mix in plenty of fun and games to help channel that youthful energy and provide an enjoyable time centered around the Scripture. | Grand Prix |
|
We all had a great time at the 2009 Grand Prix. The Annual AWANA Grand Prix is one of AWANA's most popular events. The Awana Grand Prix is a family-oriented affair that allows clubbers to express their ingenuity by creating and racing their own wooden Grand Prix cars. The event allows parents to share in the excitement of their clubber's efforts. Grand Prix events usually last about two hours or the equivalent of one club meeting. Parents are highly encouraged to participate with your child in this event, particularly, to come and cheer their efforts on the night of the event. |
